In 2019 Tver power engineers to invest 543.9 million rubles in the repair and maintenance of grids

20.03.2019

In 2019, IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division will spend 543.9 million rubles on the maintenance and repair program. For the upcoming autumn-winter period, it is planned to prepare 1.3 thousand km of power lines of all voltage classes, repair transformer substations of 35-110 kV and distribution points, clear 1,495 hectares of trees and bushes within protected areas of power lines.

The repair program of Tverenergo also includes the element-by-element repair of equipment at 30 substations, which is carried out to improve the reliability of power circuits in weak places.

Among these supply centres, the most significant are the junction transit substation (SS) 110/35/6kV "Redkino", which provides electricity to consumers in the settlement of Redkino, as well as the factory for production of pharmaceutical products of LLC Rozfarm, the 110/35/10 kV substation “Tuchevo”, which feeds the Tuchevo oil pumping station in Rameshkovsky district, the 110/10 kV SS “Proletarskaya”, the 110/35/10 kV SS “Toropets” and the 110/35/10 kV SS “Rzhev”, which are the main power source for consumers in Proletarsky district of the city of Tver, Toropetsky district of the region, and socially significant facilities of the city of Rzhev. The element-by-element equipment repair will also be performed at the 110/35/10 kV substation “Nikolay Rozhok”, which feeds the plant “Zvezda”, which produces instrumentation products used in the country’s military-industrial complex and in the Federal space programs.

The Tver branch will also carry out a major overhaul of 35-110 kV power lines on 37 overhead lines, including the 110 kV overhead line “Kuvshinovo-Selizharovo” of 52 km long, the 110 kV overhead line “Bezhetsk-Shishkovo-Dubrovo” (16 km), the 110 kV overhead line “Shishkovo-Dubrovo - DVP” (42 km). The repair will be accompanied by replacement of poles, insulators and clearing of routes along power lines.

Most of the planned work is to be carried out without the involvement of contractors, which will make 81% of the branch’s repair program and will not only reduce operating costs, but also keep the planned physical scope of repairs. In particular, Tverenergo’s personnel will repair 1,073 km of 0.4-10 kV overhead lines and 513 transformer substations of 6-10 kV.

When performing work, the power engineers use modern and reliable methods, implement innovative energy-saving technologies and equipment.

“Timely repair and replacement of power equipment is one of the most important tasks of Tverenergo and a necessary condition for ensuring reliable power supply to consumers. This is especially important in the autumn-winter period, when the electric grid complex is under maximum load,” stresses Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division director Manvel Mazhonts. “Effective implementation of the repair program is another step towards modernizing the power grids and increasing the comfort of life of the population in the Tver region.”
