In 2018 Smolenskenergo filed 243 lawsuits to the court to collect consumers’ receivables

IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division systematically implements a set of measures for settlement of consumers’ receivables. In 2018, the branch filed 243 lawsuits to courts of various instances totalling more than 100 million rubles. 77 claims were satisfied in the amount of about 30 million rubles. More than 11 million rubles have already been recovered as a result of the effective interaction of the branch’s specialists with bailiffs.

Smolenskenergo continues the work to collect consumers’ receivables, using all tools provided by current legislation. Claim work and subsequent executive measures conducted by the branch’s employees together with the Federal Bailiffs Service and financial institutions are currently the main measures to strengthen financial discipline, which give a stable result. The funds received by power engineers from non-payers will be primarily used to finance production activities and modernization of power grid facilities in the region.
