IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division continues the implementation of measures aimed at collecting consumers’ receivables. Since the beginning of 2019, the branch’s legal unit has filed 54 claims to the court totalling more than 63.6 million rubles.

Within the framework of the consistently carried out claim-related work, the enterprise performs a set of measures to return the debts of consumers who violate payment discipline, on the basis of court decisions that have entered into legal force. In 2019, Tverenergo managed to recover from the debtors 21.651 million rubles, taking into account the resulting fines.

So, one of the major debtors of the energy company MUE “Teplo-Service” (city of Bologoye) reduced the level of overdue receivables by 7.2 million rubles.

The decision of the Arbitration Court of the Tver region on the need to repay the debt of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise “Housing and Public Utilities” of Torzhoksky district in the amount of about 5 million rubles entered into force. To date, 575 thousand rubles have been returned to the Tver branch from this amount.

989 thousand rubles of the debt to the grid company was repaid by “Water Resources” LLC, with the total amount of the debt according to the court decision being 2.264 million rubles.

Currently, there are 145 cases in the production of courts to collect accounts receivable for electricity transmission services in the amount of about 836.1 million rubles.

Despite the legitimate claims of the power engineers, a number of consumers, both individuals and legal entities, continue to ignore the requirements for debt repayment. The Tver branch of IDGC of Centre draws attention that for non-execution of a court decision that has entered into force in accordance with Article 315 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation the criminal liability is imposed on the head of the legal entity.

“The effective development of the grid infrastructure, and as a result, the economic and social well-being of the region, is directly related to consumers’ compliance with payment discipline,” stresses Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division director Manvel Mazhonts. “The actions of defaulters endanger the reliability of electricity supply to residents of the Upper Volga region, since the funds received by Tverenergo for the provision of services for electricity transmission are used, including, to implement production programs. The company will consistently continue the work to collect accounts receivable, using all mechanisms provided for by current legislation.”
