Specialists of IDGC of Centre increased the reliability of power supply of Buturlinovsky and Bobrovsky districts of the Voronezh region

15.03.2019

Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division completed work on replacement of ground wire on the 110 kV inter-district overhead line “Bobrov-Buturlinovka-2 No. 2”. The work was carried out as part of the annual program for maintenance and repair of Voronezhenergo’s power equipment. In total, the power engineers installed on the line 15.5 kilometres of new ground wire.

The execution of the work ensured the protection of the line against effects of thunderstorm overvoltage, which, in turn, increased the reliability of the equipment operation of the 110 kV substations “Azovka”, “Nizhny Kislyai”, “Kozlovka” and “Buturlinovka 2”, from which consumers of Bobrovsky and Buturlinovsky districts of the Voronezh region receive electricity.

In total, during the implementation of the repair program, the specialists of the Voronezh branch of IDGC of Centre during 2019 will repair more than 1,360 kilometres of 0.4-110 kV overhead lines and 403 10-0.4 kV transformer substations. Equipment overhaul is also planned at 33 substations (SS) of 35 and 110 kV voltage levels. To prevent emergencies, the power engineers will also clear routes of power lines from trees and shrubs over a length of over 1,240 km (1,400 ha in area). In total, Voronezhenergo will allocate more than 443 million rubles to the maintenance and repair program.
