Power engineers of the Kostroma branch of IDGC of Centre became winners of the “pancake week” competitions held in the region

Employees of two Distribution Zones of IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division became winners of thematic competitions held during the celebration of the Pancake Week in the Kostroma region.

The team of the master of Makaryevsky Distribution Zone Sergey Vagurin presented Kostromaenergo in the race in felt snow boots “Makaryevskaya Verst”. Its participants were family teams and teams of enterprises of Makaryevsky district, individual participants - altogether more than a hundred people. The power engineers first overcame a distance of one verst (1,067 metres). The race in felt snow boots has traditionally been held in the region for 10 years already; representatives of the Kostroma branch of IDGC of Centre have become its team winners five times.

Employees of Mezhevsky Distribution Zone of Kostromaenergo became participants in a thematic competition for baking the largest number of pancakes. It was organized by the administration of Mezhevsky district. The power engineers called their pancakes “high-voltage”. For the largest number of pancakes, they were awarded a diploma signed by the head of the village’s cultural department and a letter of thanks from fellow villagers.
