Kurskenergo fulfills the plan for clearing routes of power lines

IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division performs regular work to clear routes of power lines from tree and shrub vegetation. Currently, more than 96 hectares of routes along 0.4–110 kV lines have been cleared. Most of the work was done in Bolshesoldatsky, Glushkovsky, Dmitrievsky and Kastorinsky districts of the Kursk region.

Until the end of 2019, Kurskenergo’s employees will clear more than 786 hectares of routes in protected zones of 510 overhead power lines from shrub and tree shoots. 17.4 million rubles are planned for these purposes.

The implementation of measures to clear the routes of overhead lines significantly reduces the risk of outages due to the fall of trees and branches on the power line, thereby ensuring reliable power supply to consumers.
