Oleg Sergeyev, Director of the Regional Youth Centre of the Tver Region, presented a certificate of gratitude to the commander of the construction crew “Atlas” of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division Konstantin Krylov. The award ceremony took place as part of a solemn meeting at the Tver State Technical University, timed to coincide with the Day of Russian Students’ Construction Crews.
The event was attended by the rector of the TSTU Andrey Tvardovsky, the head of the Tver regional branch of “Russian Students’ Construction Crews” Gleb Smolkov, representatives of the students’ construction crew movement of the region.
As part of the meeting, an agreement was signed at the university on the opening of the regional headquarters of “Russian Students’ Construction Crews” on the basis of the university.
Handing over the certificate of gratitude to Konstantin Krylov, Oleg Sergeyev congratulated the commander of the students’ energy construction crew on the holiday established by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation in 2015 and highly appreciated the active work and social life of the students’ construction crew of the energy specialty of the Tver State Technical University, which has been working for five working seasons at IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division.
2018 was the fifth - anniversary labour season of students’ energy construction crews at Tverenergo. In addition to working at power facilities, the young people took part in a number of sporting and cultural events of the branch.
The students visited the III tourist rally of teams of the Tver branch of IDGC of Centre, as well as a preventive raid of power engineers to alert the fishermen about the deadly danger of fishing in security zones of overhead power lines. Together with the activists of the Youth Council of Tverenergo they took part in the business game “Ferry”, in conducting classes on prevention of children’s electrical injuries at power facilities for children from large families and teenagers who are under social control in the state budgetary institution “Comprehensive Centre for Social Services for the Population of Kashinsky District”. Together with representatives of the Committee on Youth Affairs of the Tver Region and the youth government of the region, the members of the students’ construction crew put in order the grave of the outstanding Russian chemist Alexander Voskresensky, assisted in improving the territory of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Tver Region “Children’s TB Sanatorium No. 2” in Tver, and also took part in the burial of soldiers in Zubtsovsky district of the Tver region.
