Alexander Rudnevsky, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division director, held an extended meeting with deputy directors of the branch in areas, chiefs of Distribution Zones, offices and services, during which he heard reports on the main areas of production activities and discussed the priorities for the current year.

The heads of structural subdivisions of the branch, who delivered their reports, noted a steady positive trend in the implementation of all key performance indicators. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of production programs of Kurskenergo, aimed at providing high-quality and reliable energy supply to consumers in the region.

During this period, the branch completed in full all the planned production.

The joint operation net electricity supply amounted to 3.04 billion kWh.

Maintenance and repair programs were implemented at 100%. Overhaul of more than 2 thousand km of overhead lines was completed. A major overhaul of equipment was carried out at such significant supply centres as the 110 kV substation (SS) “Pribor” - the key source of power supply to consumers in the North-Western district, industrial enterprises of the city of Kursk, and the 110 kV SS “Schigry”, “Uyutnoye”, “R. Budy”, providing electricity to district centres of the Kursk region.

As part of the investment program, modernization was carried out with replacement of equipment of the 110/35/10 kV substations “Glushkovo”, 110/35/10 kV “Volokno”, 100/35/10 kV “Konyshevka”, 100/35/10 “Rylsk”; 110/10 kV “M. Loknya” in the amount of 90.6 million rubles.

As a result of the implementation of the production programs, the reliability of power supply to connected consumers was improved and the conditions for new connections to grids were created. As part of the execution of contracts for grid connection, Kurskenergo’s experts constructed 112.4 km of 0.4 - 10 kV overhead lines and 8.5 km of 0.4 - 10 kV cable lines, installed 66 transformer points of 10/0.4 kV with a total capacity of 7152 kVA. The branch provided electricity to enterprises of the agro-industrial sector: “Agropromkomplektatsiya-Kursk” LLC and subsidiaries of Agribusiness Holding “Miratorg”: “Fatezhskaya Yagnyatina” LLC, “Pristenskaya Grain Company” LLC, “Vozrozhdenie” LLC, and social facilities: a fire department in the village of Besedino, a kindergarten in the urban-type village of Solntsevo, sports and recreation facilities in the city of Rylsk and the village of Glushkovo.

In 2018, Kurskenergo received more than three thousand positive pieces of feedback from consumers on the quality of work performance and the resolution of issues related to energy supply.

Last year, the branch’s crews took part in the All-Russian Exercises of PJSC ROSSETI on eliminating mass violations at power grid facilities in Dagestan and in joint exercises of power engineers to work out the principles of interaction during the liquidation of mass outages of power grid facilities in the Tver region. In these events, Kurskenergo’s personnel showed their best, deserved the awards and kind words of the organizers.

An important direction in the work of the power engineers is the training of employees in safe work practices, the examination of knowledge in the field of occupational safety and health. First of all, knowledge of labour protection rules during the operation of electrical installations, fire safety rules in the electric grid complex was tested, and the skills of first-aid assistance to victims of accidents were checked. Over the past year, more than 1,500 employees underwent a knowledge test at the branch as per the schedule.

According to the results of the production activities of 2018, the teams of Fatezhsky, Pristensky and Belovsky Distribution Zones achieved the greatest success.
