Last weekend, pupils of grades 9 and 10 from Yaroslavl and municipal districts of the region answered questions of the regional stage of the All-Russian Olympiad of schoolchildren of PJSC ROSSETI.
The stage was organized by the Yaroslavl branch of IDGC of Centre and the Yaroslavl Regional Innovation and Education Centre “New School”.
The event aroused great interest among the guys. 119 people came to the Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushinsky, which provided a platform for the stage, to test their knowledge of physics, mathematics and computer science, which is several times more compared to the last year’s Olympiad.
At the opening of the event, Lyudmila Rozhdestvenskaya, the head of the HR department of IDGC of Centre - Yarenergo division, noted that this Olympiad is a good opportunity to identify talented people who have a tendency to exact sciences, are able to think creatively and implement innovative ideas.
The schoolchildren who, following the results of the regional stage, will show the best scores, will try to apply their knowledge already at the next stage - the federal one.
