IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division held the regional stage of the All-Russian School Olympiad of PJSC ROSSETI, in which 59 high school students from educational institutions of the Bryansk region took part. The event was organized by the Bryansk branch of IDGC of Centre in cooperation with the regional and city education authorities and the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution “Bryansk State Agrarian University”.
The students solved problems in three disciplines: physics, mathematics and computer sciences, aimed at checking the level of knowledge in the framework of secondary general education programs. They will be evaluated by a jury composed of representatives of Bryanskenergo, Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution “Bryansk State Agrarian University”, the regional department of science, the education department of the city administration of Bryansk. The Olympiad on the Bryansk land has been held for the second year in a row. This time it was held at two sites of the branch - in the cities of Bryansk and Klintsy. In addition to the opportunity to show a high level of knowledge in the three areas of knowledge, the children had the opportunity to get acquainted with the energy professions, visiting Bryanskenergo’s training classroom in the regional centre, to see firsthand devices and equipment used by the branch’s employees in their work.
According to the head of the HR department of IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division Anna Gribova, holding the competition on the basis of the branch allows to identify the most talented students, who then may choose the energy professions and join the ranks of employees of the power company.
The second stage of the Olympiad will be held in absentia. Participants who have scored the most points on the results of the first stage will receive case studies with tasks aimed at verifying their creative abilities and ability to apply existing knowledge in solving applied problems in the field of the electric power industry.
Winners and prize-winners of the first stage of the Olympiad will be able to take part in the final stage of the Olympiad of schoolchildren “Hope of Energy”, organized by the Moscow, Ivanovo, Kazan Energy and Siberian Federal University.
After the second stage, the winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad will be determined who can become participants in the Energy Project Shift of PJSC ROSSETI at the site of one of the All-Russian children’s health centres. The energy project shift is organized for schoolchildren who have shown the best results at the All-Russian School Olympiad of PJSC ROSSETI and the All-Russian Forum of Young Scientists “Step into the Future”, as well as those who have received appropriate certificates of students of the “Energy Technology” section of the final events of the All-Russian Vocational Guidance Forum “ProjeCTOriYA”.
