On 23 February, the traditional winter fishing competitions organized by the management and the trade union committee of the enterprise were held at IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division. More than 50 employees, pensioners and veterans of Kurskenergo, who competed for two hours in ice fishing on the pond of the village of Panino of Medvensky district of the Kursk region, took part in them.
According to the results of the competitions, the first place was taken by an electrician of a first responding mobile crew of Belovsky Distribution Zone Yury Zuev, who is a candidate master of sports in winter fishing and a multiple winner and prize-winner of the Kursk Region Winter Fishing Championship. The second place went to Valery Lapshin, a mechanic for repair of vehicles of the service of mechanization and transport of Kurchatovsky Distribution Zone. The third place was taken by a pensioner of Kurskenergo Yury Shashkov.
The judges also noted the participants who caught the biggest and smallest fish. Memorable gifts and diplomas in the nomination “Experienced Fisherman” were given to the branch’s veterans. The event ended with a field lunch and traditional fish soup.
“All of us are not just colleagues, but rather one big family. Such corporate events help rally us even more to continue working effectively shoulder to shoulder for the benefit of the enterprise,” stressed the chairman of Kurskenergo’s trade union organization Nikolay Kalinin.
