Kostromaenergo’s representative became the two-time winner of the regional trade union chess tournament

The head of the department for sale of electricity transmission services of IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division Elena Klushina won two awards at once at the annual chess tournament for prizes of the Federation of Trade Union Organizations of the Kostroma Region, held in the Kostroma Chess School.

Teams of trade unions of various industry associations in the region participated in the competition. The strongest participants were determined in the individual and team championships in the Swiss-system tournament (the teams played with each other in a circular system, 15 minutes were allotted to each game). Elena Klushina acted in the team of the regional organization “All-Russian Electric Trade Union”, which ranked the second in terms of the total points scored. Kostromaenergo became the third in the women’s individual event. Winners and prize-winners awarded with diplomas and prizes.

The chess tournament for the prizes of the Federation of Trade Union Organizations of the Kostroma Region has been held for more than 10 years. During this time about one hundred people became its participants. Elena Klushina represented the branch at the competitions for the second time. Last year, she was also the second in the team competition, and in the personal standing she won the fourth place.
