Kostromaenergo’s power engineers were among the organizers of the regional stage of the All-Russian School Safety Olympiad

In Kostroma, the regional stage of the All-Russian School Olympiad on the Basics of Life Safety, organized by the Department of Education and Science of the Kostroma Region and the regional centre for gifted schoolchildren, was completed. The event, held in secondary school #8, was attended by pupils of grades 9-11, who became the winners of competitions in their municipalities - about 60 people in total.

The organizers of the Olympiad stages that are specialized departments, organizations and universities in the region checked the guys for knowledge of fire and gas safety rules, the ability to provide first aid, navigate the terrain, use protective equipment.

Kostromaenergo’s employees were experts at the “Electrical Safety” stage. Here senior pupils answered theoretical questions, and also demonstrated their skills in providing first aid to an injured person - they determined signs of electric shock, prepared for resuscitation, closed-chest cardiac massage, etc.
