Tambovenergo held a solemn celebration in honour of employees participating in hostilities in the Republic of Afghanistan

IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division on the eve of the thirtieth anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan held a solemn event for employees.

For 15 workers who participated in counter-terrorism operations in Afghanistan, a gala concert with participation of well-known Tambov bands was organized in the building of the executive office of Tambovenergo.

“Holding such events has become a good tradition for us. On this day, we pay tribute to the heroism of the soldiers and officers who performed their army duty in “hot spots”, and honour the memory of the dead,” stressed Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division director Nikolay Bogomolov.

Employees of Tambovenergo actively participate in military-patriotic actions and events of the Tambov region. Among them there is help and support in installation of monuments to fellow countrymen who performed a duty outside the Fatherland, conducting “courage lessons” in schools and public organizations, participating in the “Immortal Regiment” processions on Victory Day.
