Lipetskenergo successfully completed the annual repair program

13.02.2019

Hundreds of kilometres of lines and transformer substations were upgraded in 2018.

IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division in 2018 invested 165 million rubles in upgrading equipment. This money was used to overhaul 111 transformer substations of 0.4-10 kV in all districts of the Lipetsk region. Power engineers put in order 956 kilometres of power lines. This is 70 kilometres more than in 2017. Also last year, a significant amount of power transformers, 0.4 - 110 kV switches and disconnectors were repaired.

The power engineers carried out serious work on clearing routes from woody and shrubby vegetation. These activities are carried out annually to reduce failures caused by fall of trees on power lines. During the reporting period, the power engineers cleared 752 hectares of routes along 0.4–110 kV power lines. This is 218 hectares more than a year earlier.

High-quality and timely implementation of the repair program is a guarantee of uninterrupted power supply to consumers in a period of unstable weather conditions and low temperatures. That is why Lipetskenergo annually invests considerable forces and funds in the renewal of the energy complex of the region. This systematic work will continue in the new year,” stressed Edgar Kusinsh, Deputy Chief Engineer for Asset Management and Development.
