IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division summed up the results of the implementation of the Environmental Policy Implementation Program for 2018. The planned indicators of the document were fulfilled on time and in full; the company spent more than 1.7 million rubles on these purposes.
A large amount of work was carried out by power engineers in terms of reducing the harmful impact on the environment of production and consumption waste, protection of atmospheric air and water resources. Accumulated waste worth more than 841 thousand rubles was transferred to specialized organizations for neutralization and disposal.
Instrumental monitoring of emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere was carried out regularly to ensure that their volumes comply with established standards, as well as control studies of water quality indicators.
Also, during this period, the power engineers replaced more than 142.6 km of uninsulated wire on overhead lines (Conductors) of 0.4 - 35 kV with protected self-supporting insulated wire, which allows to increase the reliability of electricity supply, reduce the area for cutting routes and completely eliminate bird deaths on lines.
In 2018, Tambovenergo’s specialists installed 4 vacuum circuit breakers of 10 kV of the BB/TEL 10-20/1000 type, replaced one rechargeable battery at the 110 kV “Khobotovskaya” substation, and also replaced ten oil-filled bushings for ones with solid insulation, which reduces risks of soil pollution, at the same time, this equipment has a high degree of reliability and is fireproof.
By implementing the measures, stipulated by the Environmental Policy Implementation Program, Tambovenergo contributes to ensuring the environmental safety of the Tambov region.
