08.02.2019

In 2018, IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division commissioned 80 MVA of new capacity, constructed and reconstructed over 750 kilometres of power lines in the region. The volume of capital investments amounted to 2.8 billion rubles, including VAT.

Last year, the new, 181st, high-voltage 110/10 kV substation “Vatutinskaya” was commissioned in Valuysky district. It was named after the native of Valuysky district, an outstanding commander of the Great Patriotic War, Army General, Hero of the Soviet Union Nikolay Vatutin. The power facility with an installed capacity of 12.6 MVA was designed taking into account the use of modern automated systems for dispatch control, control and metering of electricity. Investment in the project amounted to about 350.8 million rubles, including VAT.

Outdated equipment was upgraded at the 35-110 kV substations “Konshino” and “Rogovatoye”. The reconstruction will increase the reliability of electricity supply to more than 10 thousand consumers in Gubkinsky district and Starooskolsky urban district. In Stary Oskol, the first stage of reconstruction of the 110 kV substation “Promyshlennaya”, providing power supply to a number of large consumers, is completed; in Belgorodsky district - the 1st stage of the reconstruction of the 35 kV substation “Nikolskoye”, providing for an increase in the power of the feeding centre from 2.5 to 8 MW, as well as a complete modernization of equipment and automated systems using digital substation technologies. It is planned to complete the work in 2019.

According to the program of technical re-equipment and reconstruction, about 221 km of power lines passing through the territory of villages and settlements in the region were modernized. More than 450 million rubles including VAT were allocated for the reconstruction of grids and the optimization of power supply schemes. Another 180 million rubles (with VAT) were spent on the construction of power grid infrastructure in residential areas of individual housing construction. All this will increase the reliability of electricity supply to the population living in rural areas, and will enable owners of 1,231 land plots to connect to the centralized electricity supply.

In 2018, the branch executed more than 7 thousand contracts for grid connection with a total capacity of 169 MW, having provided electricity to more than 100 social institutions and 10 large facilities of the agro-industrial complex of the region operating under import substitution programs.
