Yarenergo comprehensively reconstructed power grids in four settlements

06.02.2019

In 2018, IDGC of Centre - Yarenergo division implemented a comprehensive program for reconstruction of 0.4-10 kV electrical grids aimed at improving the reliability and quality of supplied electrical energy to consumers in the villages of Greater Brembola and Krasnoe of Pereslavsky municipal district, Dievo-Gorodische of Nekrasovsky municipal district and the village of Kamenniki of Rybinsky municipal district. These settlements were selected by the grid company based on the analysis of residents’ complaints about the quality of the supplied electrical energy and the power outages.

The reconstruction program provided for targeted replacement of uninsulated wire with self-supporting insulated wire with an increase in transmission capacity, installation of new transformer substations and construction of new power lines. In accordance with it, the Yaroslavl power engineers reconstructed 12.76 km of 0.4-10 kV power lines, constructed three transformer substations with a capacity of 0.51 MVA, reconstructed five transformer substations with an increase in connected power of 0.68 MVA.

The integrated approach based on the territorial principle, when works at various power grid facilities of a selected locality - transformer substations and power lines of various voltage classes - are performed simultaneously in the same program, were not chosen by chance. In this case, the reconstruction is not carried out in certain areas, but covers the entire grid complex of a certain locality, which makes it possible to increase the reliability indicators of the power supply in a particular village or small village.
