Lipetskenergo saved 3.93 million rubles due to the energy saving program

IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division summarized the results of the implementation of the energy saving and energy efficiency improvement program in 2018.

The total effect from the implementation of energy saving measures amounted to 1,678.91 thousand kWh, which is equivalent to 3.93 million rubles. 469.06 thousand kWh were saved due to technical measures: replacement of overloaded and underloaded transformers, installation of wires with a larger cross section on overloaded power lines, as well as replacement of wire of overhead line taps in residential houses with self-supporting insulated wire. The economic effect is 1.098 million rubles.

Thanks to such organizational measures as disconnecting transformers in low load modes at substations with two or more transformers, as well as disconnecting transformers with seasonal load, 1,173.63 thousand kWh were saved or 2.747 million rubles.

Lipetskenergo systematically works on reducing its own energy consumption. According to the environmental policy of the electric grid complex, the consumption of energy in the branch annually decreases by at least three percent. In accordance with Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation of 27 September 2015 No. 971, the Branch’s Program envisages bringing the share of LED lighting to 75% in 2020.

For the period of 2018, 4,000 lamps were replaced with LED analogues. The effect is 20.08 thousand kWh, or 47 thousand rubles. At the moment, the share of LED lighting in the branch is 32.3%.

For the same purpose - reducing the consumption of resources for utility needs - walls of the facade of the building of Lipetsky Distribution Zone were heat insulated and windows in Gryazinsky, Zadonsky and Lipetsky Distribution Zones were replaced. The total effect of these measures is 16.14 thousand kWh or 37.8 thousand rubles.
