IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division summed up the implementation of measures of the repair program in 2018.
During this period, the branch’s specialists repaired 2,227.83 km of overhead power lines (Conductors) of 0.4-110 kV. As part of this work, 17,082 insulators were replaced.
23 substations (SS) of 35 - 110 kV were overhauled. Among them there are such important feeding centres as the 110 kV Substation “Pribor” - the key source of power supply to consumers in the North-West district, the 110 kV Substation “Schigry”, which provides power supply to residents of district centres, as well as a number of enterprises and important social institutions of Schigrovsky district.
In addition, as part of the repair program, work was carried out to replace 79 support rod insulators of 110-35 kV, repair 252 oil switches of 110-35-10 kV and 167 isolating switches, short-circuiting switches and disconnectors of 110-35 kV.
In order to reduce the risk of technological violations caused by falling trees on wires, 772.9 hectares of ROWs along overhead lines were cleared of trees and shrubs.
High-quality and timely implementation of the measures of the repair program allows the power engineers to ensure stable and uninterrupted operation of electric grid facilities in the region.
