In 2018 Kostromaenergo’s specialists repaired over 600 transformer substations and distribution points

IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division summed up the implementation of the repair program for 2018. All work to ensure the reliable operation of facilities of the electric grid complex in the autumn-winter period was performed in accordance with the schedule.

During the reporting period, power engineers repaired 617 transformer substations and distribution points with a voltage of 6-10 kV. On overhead lines, 7,219 insulators and 1,050 poles were replaced. Also, 5.4 km of 35-110 kV overhead lines, 6.8 km of 0.4-10 kV overhead lines and 396 pieces of equipment of substations were repaired. 5 km of ground wire on 35-110 kV overhead lines were replaced.

To prevent technological violations caused by falling trees and branches on wires of overhead lines, the branch’s specialists cleared 1,692.2 hectares of routes of power lines from trees and shrubs.

“The timely and high-quality implementation of the repair program makes it possible to most effectively solve problems of ensuring reliable operation of the power grid complex and uninterrupted power supply to consumers in the Kostroma region,” stressed Andrey Meluzov, the deputy chief engineer for production assets management and development of Kostromaenergo.
