IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division held the first in the coming year Safety Day.
Heads of specialized services and specialists of the technical unit of the branch summed up the implementation of measures to eliminate the deficiencies identified during the previous Safety Day in Distribution Zones and production units.
The commission also checked the provision of first responding and repair crews with work clothes, protective equipment, and necessary tools for safe work. In addition, a survey of personnel was conducted to assess the knowledge of the layout of assigned equipment and the features of its operation in low-temperature conditions, the setup of backup power supply schemes at socially significant facilities.
Particular attention was paid to the organization of dispatching control of crews of services and Distribution Zones: the configuration and condition of first responding vehicles, the availability of duty schedules, and the maintenance of necessary regulatory and technical documentation. Additional instructions were given to the driver’s staff on safety measures for the operation and control of vehicles in the winter period.
According to the results of the Safety Day, a list of measures to eliminate the violations was developed. A report on its implementation will be made at the next Safety Day, which will be held next month.
Occupational safety days at the branch “Kurskenergo” are held monthly to prevent industrial injuries and increase the production culture at power facilities.
