Power engineers of Tverenergo held a New Year holiday for patients of children’s tuberculosis sanatorium No. 2 in the city of Tver

Representatives of the Youth Council of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division organized a New Year’s matinee for young patients of State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Tver region “Children’s TB Sanatorium No. 2” in the city of Tver. The holiday was the final part of the charity marathon, which was initiated by the power company.

During the month, Tverenergo’s employees collected donations for patients of the children’s sanatorium, in addition, the branch organized the sale of Christmas decorations, sweets, cooked with their own hands. By purchasing homemade postcards, Christmas decorations, gingerbread and baked goods, the power engineers left charitable contributions at their discretion. All proceeds are spent to purchase toys and office supplies for conducting classes with children, as well as necessary equipment for the needs of the sanatorium.

For several years already, the power engineers of the Tver branch of IDGC of Centre have been helping the children’s tuberculosis sanatorium on their personal initiative. Employees of the company annually organize clean-up events on the premises of the institution and the necessary repair in the building, conduct useful lessons and happy holidays for children.

“Thanks to the staff of Tverenergo for taking care of the patients of our sanatorium! Children always wait for you and get ready so much! For several weeks we have been learning poems for Santa Claus and preparing for the holiday! It is very pleasant to see the burning eyes of the children, we are grateful to you for this,” Olga Minina, the head physician of the health facility of the Tver region, Children’s TB Sanatorium No. 2, shared her emotions.
