In 2018, IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division completed the project on equipping the production personnel with video recorders for performance of work at electrical installations. Individual recording devices were received by 445 repair and operating crews of power engineers. Over 20 million rubles were allocated for the project implementation.
Personal recording devices are designed for video recording of various types of industrial activity, ranging from work clearance, instruction, preparation of the workplace and ending with operational switching in grids. They consist of several personal video recorders, which are fixed on the overalls of masters, work clearing or performing work, and provide autonomous video-audio recording of work performed for eight hours, at any time of day and in all weather conditions. Upon completion of the process, the recorders are connected to the terminal for saving, archiving data and recharging for the next use. At the same time, 6 or 28 recorders are connected to the terminal.
In the current year, individual DVRs are provided to all first responding mobile crews of the branch, crews of electrical equipment diagnostics, transformer substation and distribution points, crews for operation of distribution grids, overhead and cable power lines, outdoor lighting, value-added services and other units. In total, the branch purchased 490 devices and 55 terminals.
According to specialists of Belgorodenergo’s industrial safety and production control department, the recorders have already proven to be an effective and reliable mobile solution for constant high-quality video recording of production activities. One of the main advantages of the devices is additional instrumental control, which increases the discipline and level of responsibility of employees for their actions, and, therefore, ensures additional safety of personnel.
