Kostromaenergo, according to the results of 11 months, claimed in court from defaulters more than 26 million rubles for transmitted electricity

24.12.2018

IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division continues systematic work on collecting receivables for electricity transmission services. Its important direction is claim-related activity.

For 11 months, specialists of Kostromaenergo’s legal unit submitted to the court 250 claims for collection of receivables totalling more than 300.4 million rubles. Under 246 cases, including claims submitted earlier, decisions were made to collect 26 million rubles in favour of the company. In the same period, bailiffs sent 160 writs of execution for a total amount of claims of 41.1 million rubles.

Currently, in the production of courts of various instances there are 142 claims of power engineers against unscrupulous payers for a total amount of 298 million rubles.

However, despite all the efforts, the level of overdue receivables of Kostromaenergo remains high: as of 1 November, it was 378.6 million rubles. The whole amount falls on two debtors: PJSC Kostroma Sales Company (351.7 million rubles) and OJSC Oboronenergosbyt (26.9 million rubles).

It should be noted that the actions of defaulters threaten the reliability of electricity supply to consumers in the region, since the funds received by Kostromaenergo for the provision of electricity transmission services are used, among other things, to implement production programs. The company will consistently perform the work to collect accounts receivable, using all mechanisms provided for by the current legislation.
