Employees of IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division together with representatives of the General Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia for the Kostroma region, the State Inspectorate for Small Vessels (GIMS) and employees of the All-Russian Voluntary Fire Society (VDPO) conducted a life safety quest for 6th graders of gymnasium № 15 in Kostroma.
The quest was held in the building of the educational institution. The organizers deployed several stations here, where schoolchildren were waiting for logical tasks on various subject areas. At the “Island of Safety” stage, the GIMS representatives told them about the rules of behaviour on the ice, as well as about the rescue of those who fell through it. At the point “Fire Safety”, the VDPO employees taught the children to use fire extinguishers correctly and introduced them to the contents of the first-aid kit.
Kostromaenergo’s specialists organized the “Electric Shock” stage, where the children answered theoretical electrical safety questions, and also demonstrated their first-aid skills to the injured by electric current - determined signs of electric shock, relieved the injured from its effects, conducted resuscitation measures.
According to the results of the quest, all sixth-graders coped with its tasks as excellent. Kostromaenergo’s specialists gave them reminders and posters to always remember the electrical safety rules.
