IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division has a fully functioning workshop for repair of 6-10 kV power transformers. The subdivision is organized on the site of the repair and production base of Rasskazovsky Distribution Zone and serves the entire electric grid complex of the branch.
The workshop is equipped with necessary technological equipment. The repairs involve specially trained personnel who perform disassembly, defective, mechanical and metal works, conducts pre-repair and acceptance tests, manufactures windings, assembles, installs and finishes transformers. In total, this year, 171 pieces of power equipment were repaired.
In addition to Rasskazovsky, the branch has a total of four equipment repair shops in Zherdevsky, Kirsanovsky, Morshansky and Michurinsky Distribution Zones that specialize in the manufacture of metal structures and the repair of cabinets of transformer substations. In total, there are 27 highly qualified specialists working at five sites who, on average, produce more than 8,000 metal structures per year, repair more than 70 cabinets and 170 transformers. Thanks to this, the company manages to save more than 17.5 million rubles a year in total.
“The work of the electrical equipment repair subdivisions significantly speeds up the production cycle and reduces the cost of implementing the repair program by refusing contractors’ services,” stresses Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division director Nikolay Bogomolov.
