Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Yarenergo division completed the reconstruction of the 110/35/10 kV substation “Abbakumtsevo” in the Yaroslavl Municipal District. As part of the work at the substation, the 10 MVA power transformer was replaced with a more powerful 16 MVA transformer, new oil drain networks, oil receivers and oil collectors were constructed. Transformers, used by the substation for its utility needs, and relay protection for microprocessor were replaced. In total, the branch “Yarenergo” allocated about 40 million rubles for the substation reconstruction.
Modernization of this large power facility will eliminate the power shortage and increase the reliability of electricity supply in 149 settlements of Yaroslavlsky and Nekrasovsky districts, including the small villages of Pestretsovo and Chentsy, the settlements of Krasny Profintern and Grigorievskoe, the village of Dievo Gorodische.
The substation “Abbakumtsevo” also feeds a number of industrial and social life support facilities: 10 boiler houses, 3 hospitals, 9 schools and a kindergarten, 45 sewer pump stations and wells. Category consumers include the cattle breeding complex APC “Greshnevo”, the airfield in the village of Levtsovo, the organization for provision of public utilities for heat and water supply “Yarcommunservice”, a branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution of the Department of Land Reclamation and Agricultural Water Supply.
