Chief Engineer of Kostromaenergo inspected the work of the branch’s crews at the exercises of power engineers in Tver

During his visit to the Tver region, the first deputy director, chief engineer of IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division Evgeny Smirnov familiarized himself with the organization of work of Kostroma power engineers undergoing training in Likhoslavlsky and Torzhoksky Distribution Zones of Tverenergo. He inspected issues related to the admission of personnel, the implementation of organizational and technical measures of the clearance-access system. Particular attention was paid to the analysis of the work of specialists of the operational technology group.

While travelling to the work places of the crews, Evgeny Smirnov checked the application of safety measures. Discussion with employees of working and living conditions was also relevant.

Such visits to the Tver region are regular for him and heads of structural units of Kostromaenergo and allow, on the basis of information received and personal contact with the participants of the exercises, to make their work more efficient.

“The workers of Kostromaenergo are faced with important tasks of clearing ROWs along 10-35-110 kV lines and felling trees threatening to fall onto overhead power lines. During this period of time, we cleared 577 hectares of ROWs. At the exercises, the workers showed proficiency and professionalism, ability to work in a team,” stressed Evgeny Smirnov.
