IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division summed up the work on connection of customers to electric grids for 10 months of 2018.
During this period, the branch received 2,350 applications for grid connection. 1,944 contracts were concluded, 1,653 contracts were executed. The total capacity of the power installations connected to the grids was 37.38 MW.
Among the largest applicants for the grid connection service were agro-industrial enterprises operating in the region: a high-tech meat processing complex with a production capacity of 185 thousand tons per year, located in the village of Linets of Zheleznogorsky district in the Kursk region.
Within the framework of the grid connection agreement of the enterprise, the branch’s specialists constructed a 14-kilometre tap of the 35 kV overhead line “Troitskaya-Voropaevo” to the applicant’s substation, and also installed an automatic switching device (recloser). The total connected capacity of the facility will be 4.9 MW.
In accordance with the agreement, the branch “Kurskenergo” increased by 800 kW the capacity of the mushroom rainbow complex connected in 2017. Also, power engineers performed adjustment of relay protection and automation equipment at the substation “Prigorodnaya” and in the adjacent grid.
Until the end of this year, the branch’s specialists will provide grid connection of two large social facilities in the region: a fitness centre with a swimming pool in Rylsk and a kindergarten for 140 places in the village of Solntsevo of Solntsevsky district. For this, the power engineers are constructing 10kV cable and overhead lines with protected wire, kiosk-type transformer substations.
