Tambovenergo completed work to increase the capacity of an enterprise of the agroholding “Rusagro”

IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division ahead-of-schedule implemented the construction of power facilities for grid connection of the third stage of the pig-breeding complex “Tambov Bacon” (“Tambov Bacon-3”) within the branch’s investment program. The company will provide 7.4 MW of capacity to 12 new sites of the complex, under construction in Zherdevsky, Sampursky and Znamensky districts. To do this, the power company constructed three 35 kV double-circuit overhead lines (Conductors) with a total length of 54 km. About 300 million rubles were allocated for these purposes.

“Tambov Bacon” is part of the Group “Rusagro”, one of the country’s largest agro-industrial holdings and the 4th largest producer of pork in Russia. The production capacity of the first two stages of the complex “Tambov Bacon” is 120 thousand tons of pork per year in live weight. The launch of the third stage will double this volume.
