IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division summed up the intermediate results of the implementation of the program of energy saving and energy efficiency improvement. For 10 months, as a result of technical and organizational measures, the branch saved 7.5 million kWh of electricity, which is 106% of the planned volume.
More than 2.8 million kWh were saved as a result of the implementation of a whole set of measures to reduce technical losses: use of wire with a larger cross section, equalization of loads across phases in the 0.4 kV distribution grid, disconnection of unloaded transformers and transformers with seasonal load, comprehensive modernization of substations, planned use of energy-efficient transformers of 6(10)/0.4 kV, etc.
In 2018, 54 power transformers with reduced power consumption with an aggregate capacity of 12.15 MVA were installed in distribution grids of the branch. The economic effect exceeded 0.4 million kWh or more than 744.5 thousand rubles.
The most important priorities in the field of energy saving and energy efficiency in the coming years remain a consistent reduction of losses and saving of energy resources for production and utility needs. In accordance with the requirements of Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation of 27 September 2016 # 971 “On amendments to the rules for establishing requirements for programs in the field of energy saving and improving the energy efficiency of organizations implementing regulated activities”, over five thousand LED lamps and lighting fixtures already been installed in terms of LED lighting at Belgorodenergo’s facilities, which accounts for 33% of the total number of lighting devices.
The cumulative effect of the implementation of the energy saving program in 2018-2022 is expected in the amount of 14.8 million kWh.
