Prevention and reduction of the level of industrial injuries, labour protection (safety), preservation of health and life of personnel are priorities for IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division. More than 32 million rubles were allocated for implementation of labour protection measures for 10 months of 2018.
Most of them, over 22 million rubles, were spent to purchase personal protective equipment, tools and accessories, about 2.6 million rubles - to take measures to prevent accidents at work, 5 million rubles - to take sanitary-hygienic measures to prevent diseases at work, more than 2.5 million rubles were spent on general improvement of working conditions.
Specialists of production services of the branch regularly carry out comprehensive, thematic, planned, unscheduled inspections, weekly rounds and inspections of workplaces under the safety terms.
Among the important areas in the field of labour protection is training of employees of the branch “Kurskenergo” safe methods and techniques of work. In order to prevent occupational injuries, over 10 months of this year more than 120 people received training at the Training Centre for operating personnel of Kurskenergo. In addition to obtaining theoretical knowledge, practical skills in first aid were trained, 24 employees of the branch received the qualification “Instructor of mass training in first aid in case of accidents at work”.
