The Lipetsk branch allocated more than one and a half million rubles for implementation of the environmental policy of IDGC of Centre for nine months of 2018.
The environmental program provides for implementation of a set of measures for protection of atmospheric air, rational use of water resources and land, waste management. Branches of IDGC of Centre also work to minimize the negative impact on the environment.
For nine months of this year, Lipetskenergo allocated one million 586 thousand rubles for the implementation of environmental measures, which is six hundred thousand more than for the same period in 2017. Thus, Lipetskenergo spent 140 thousand rubles on receiving and cleaning wastewater, 238 thousand on delivery of municipal solid waste, and 570 thousand rubles were invested in development of maximum allowable emission targets.
Every year Lipetskenergo is engaged in improvement and landscaping of the city and region. During the spring and summer, the branch’s employees planted 2,000 different plant species in an area of 130 square metres, held four clean-up days and two environmental campaigns.
An important aspect of the environmental activities of Lipetskenergo is protection of the animal world. The branch has developed a project to install by the end of the year 480 bird guards to prevent electric shock of birds. It is planned to spend about half a million rubles on this.
In order to improve the qualifications of personnel in the field of environmental protection, twenty specialists were trained under the programs “Environmental Safety” and “Specialist in Waste Management”.
