We have been to the Tver region for the third week already. We are engaged in the expansion of ROWs of 35-110 kV power lines, we bring security zones of power lines to standard values: 20 metres in one and the other side of the outermost wire. We expanded the ROW of the 35 kV Beliy-Verkhovye overhead line in an area of 3 hectares; now we are working on increasing ROWs of the 110 kV Beliy-Monino line, where we have an allocated area of 11.5 hectares. We work with chainsaws from the ground, with the use of braces, ropes, wedges. First of all, we remove trees that threaten to fall on wires in case of bad weather. Our crew is combined, consisting of fitters from three sections of the line service. There are those who most recently began to work, and the experience of the masters is very helpful to them, as what we do in Tver is generally useful and important. Now freezing rain or strong wind will not be the cause of power outages of the town of Beliy, villages of Verkhovye, Egorye, Dunaevo, Podvoiskoye, Glushakovo, Rydanovo and other settlements in Belsky district.
