Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division have started the final stage of reconstruction of one of the large power supply centres of the urban-type settlement of Sudislavl - the 110/10 kV substation (SS) “Sudislavl”. As part of the reconstruction, the power engineers replaced the outdated equipment with modern one. During the last stage of modernization, the equipment will be tested under operating voltage and put into operation. The work is planned to be fully completed in November.
The substation “Sudislavl” feeds the settlement of Sudislavl and nearby settlements. Its reconstruction will improve the reliability of electricity supply to more than 12 thousand residents, about 20 socially significant facilities (schools, kindergartens, boiler houses, pumping stations, etc.), as well as a number of industrial enterprises, including the Sudislav welding materials plant - one of welding materials manufacturers demanded in Russia, and JSC “KS-Sreda” - a major furniture manufacturer for Russia and foreign countries.
