IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division summed up the results of the implementation of the program of technical re-equipment and reconstruction of power lines in settlements of the Belgorod region for 9 months of this year. During this period, power engineers modernized 208 kilometres of power lines.
Currently Belgorodenergo is completing a comprehensive reconstruction of grids in the villages of Kolykhalino and Shvedunovka in Valuisky district, Kurskoye and Long Polyana in Stary Oskol urban district, the villages of Sharapovka in Novooskolsky district, Vyazovoye in Prokhorovsky district, and Zasosna and the town of Biryuch in Krasnogvardeisky district, Dmitrievka and Olkhovka in Yakovlevsky district, Kolotilovka in Krasnoyaruzhsky district. In the course of the work, the power engineers revise the power supply schemes, increase the transmission capacity of power lines, bring lines passing through courtyards to a safe distance.
In the village of Novosadovy of Belgorodsky district, in order to improve the reliability of power supply, it is planned to downsize the power supply scheme, which will require the construction of 6 km of cable power lines and the additional installation of a 10 kV distribution point.
A significant amount of work on the optimization of the power supply circuit was performed in the settlement of Maysky. An overhead power line of 10 kV, which passed in the centre of the settlement, was transferred by the power engineers to a cable line, installing 7 transformer substations. This improved the quality of electricity supply to socially significant and residential consumers, as well as increased the aesthetic appeal of the settlement and the park “Russian Forest”.
To improve the reliability of power supply to consumers of the regional centre this year, Belgorodenergo’s specialists reconstructed cable power lines that provide power supply to the first category consumer - the shopping centre “Mega Grinn”. The reconstruction of the 4-kilometre section of the cable line through the centre of Belgorod is being completed. Reconstruction of overhead lines to ensure the safety of population is carried out using self-supporting insulated wire (SIW), power equipment with reduced power consumption is installed at substations.
The program of reconstruction of shabby and outdated grids has been operating at Belgorodenergo since 2000. In the current year, the power engineers are planning to modernize over 239 km of 0.4-10 kV power lines, allocating RUB 596 million, including VAT. Modernization will reduce operating costs, increase the reliability of power equipment and, as a result, provide a qualitatively new level of power supply to consumers in the Belgorod region.
