Tambovenergo increases the reliability of power supply to consumers using innovative technologies

31.10.2018

Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division continue the comprehensive reconstruction of 10/0.4 kV distribution grids in the village of Selezny of Tambovsky district in the Tambov region. During it, the power engineers plan to replace more than 11 km of 10 kV lines, 27 km of 0.4 kV lines, as well as 783 taps to residential buildings. All activities are planned to be completed by the end of the year. In total, more than 50 million rubles will be allocated to them.

In the course of the work, the power engineers use innovative materials and equipment, including the own know-how of IDGC of Centre: steel multifaceted poles of 0.4 kV overhead lines and 10/0.4 kV pole-mounted transformer substations. The bare wire on the lines is replaced with self-supporting insulated wire (SIW). The use of modern power supply equipment contributes to reducing Tambovenergo’s costs for operating distribution grids and decreasing technical electric energy losses.

“The implementation of measures for the reconstruction of grids in the village of Selezny will ensure the uninterrupted operation of electrical equipment, the reliability and stability of electricity supply to residents of the village during the heating season,” stresses Acting Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division director Nikolay Bogomolov.
