Over the past 9 months of 2018, IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division spent 46 million rubles to take measures aimed at reducing risks of industrial injuries, meeting the requirements of regulatory and legal acts on safety and improving sanitary conditions of staff. These measures will allow in sufficient volume to provide personnel with modern means of protection, tools and devices for safe performance of work.
Measures to prevent occupational diseases and improve working conditions of staff are important in the field of safety. So, for 9 months of 2018, a special assessment of working conditions was carried out at 470 workplaces in the branch in accordance with the current legislation.
Another important area of work is training employees in safe work practices, increasing knowledge in the field of labour protection. Over the past period, 330 employees were trained in labour protection.
For 9 months, the central commission of the branch, according to the schedule, tested 151 heads of subdivisions and specialists of the branch, and commissions of subdivisions checked more than 2,450 employees. First of all, the staff were checked on their knowledge of labour protection rules in operation of electrical installations, the rules of technical operation and fire safety rules in the electrical grid complex of PJSC “Rosseti”, and first-aid skills for injured persons at accidents were developed. An extraordinary examination of knowledge of all the staff of the branch in connection with the introduction of the “Rules on safety in road transport” and the “Rules for maintenance and repair of electric power facilities” was also conducted.
