First Deputy Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division Vyacheslav Istomin visited participants of the exercises in the Tver region. The working trip took place to check the living conditions of crews, their provision with tools, working clothes, as well as the safety of work at facilities.
On the first day of the trip, Vyacheslav Istomin checked the living conditions of Kurskenergo’s staff in the hotel “Ashkhen” in Ostashkovsky district. According to the results of the check, no comments were revealed: the branch’s employees were accommodated in rooms of 2 to 4 people, three meals a day were set.
On the second day, there was a sudden inspection of the work carried out at electrical installations on 35 kV overhead line No. 2 “Ostashkovo-Svetlitsa”, where Kurskenergo’s crew performed clearing of the overhead line ROW using a mulcher. The inspection report noted that the work is set up in accordance with the safety rules.
“I want to emphasize that the branch’s specialists successfully cope with the tasks set in the framework of the exercises. They daily fulfill and overfulfill plans. Everyone’s mood and well-being is good. To date, our employees have cleared more than 245 hectares of ROWs from tree and shrub vegetation,” commented Chief Engineer of Kurskenergo Vyacheslav Istomin.
The exercise completion is scheduled for 22 December. As part of the ongoing work, Kurskenergo’s crews will clear and expand ROWs of overhead power lines in an area exceeding 1,000 hectares in three districts of the Tver region - Firovsky, Ostashkovsky, Bologovsky.
