The head of the logistics and material support department of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division Dmitry Kovalev in October visited the exercises’ participants in the Tver region. The purpose of the visit is to check the condition of transport and vehicles of the Smolensk branch involved in the exercises.
In accordance with the plan for the inspection of the vehicles, a check was carried out on the technical condition of crew vehicles performing work in Kalininsky Distribution Zone of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division, provision and equipment of official vehicles with necessary tools and accessories, as well as correctness of technical documentation. In addition, Dmitry Kovalev inspected the living conditions of the power engineers. All comments on the results of the check were eliminated on the same day.
“The availability of reliable, off-road and convenient vehicles plays an important role in the work of power engineers. In addition to travelling cars, a large fleet of specialized vehicles - UAZs, GAZs - is involved in the exercises. They allow our crews to move daily through wooded and swampy areas of the Tver region. The task of the service of mechanization and transport of Smolenskenergo is to provide not only the quality preparation of these vehicles, but also to maintain them in a working condition throughout the entire period of the exercises,” noted Dmitry Kovalev.
