Smolenskenergo completed the repair of the power line supplying Yartsevo Foundry

One of the key components of preparation for the autumn-winter period of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division is its repair program. This year, the most large-scale planned event of the program was the repair of the “Safonovo-Liteiny” 110kV overhead line with taps (Conductor-172). At this facility, the power engineers replaced 387 insulators. The costs for this amounted to 640 thousand rubles.

This power line is involved in the power of OJSC “Yartsevo Foundry”. Earlier, in 2017, another line was repaired, which feeds the plant - 110 kV overhead lines No. 103 and No. 104 “Smolenskaya CHPP-2 - Liteynaya”. Yartsevo Foundry is a leading enterprise in the region for production of cast iron (manufacturer of composite reinforcement) with a total capacity of 200 thousand tons. The production site is located east of the town of Yartsevo in the Smolensk region. It has been in operation since 2007.
