Managers of “Yarenergo” monitored the work of crews of the Yaroslavl branch of IDGC of Centre at the federal exercises of power engineers

In the Tver region, within the framework of large-scale exercises of power engineers to work out the interaction and elimination of interruptions in operation of the power grid complex, employees of IDGC of Centre - Yarenergo division have cleared 134 hectares of ROWs along overhead power lines.

Heads of the branch, represented by Deputy Director for Security, Deputy Chief Engineer for Production Asset Management and Development and Head of the Logistics and Procurement Office, visited Vesyegonsky, Sandrovsky and Lesnoy Distribution Zones of Tverenergo, where Yarenergo’s personnel work.

“Clearing ROWs of power lines and sawdust of trees threatening to fall on overhead lines in Vesyegonsky and Sandrovsky districts is such a task under the exercise scenario set for our specialists,” said Deputy Chief Engineer for Production Asset Management and Development of IDGC of Centre - Yarenergo division Yury Loganov. “This will allow to reduce the failure rate, minimize the risk of power outages in these districts due to adverse weather conditions.”

The heads of the branch visited the bases of the above-mentioned Distribution Zones, workplaces and locations for the crews, talked with masters and electricians. We checked the availability of tools and vehicles, the volume of work performed and their compliance with the exercise schedule, living conditions of accommodation.

At the time of the exercises, weekly visits of the branch’s managers of various levels are scheduled. The exercises involved 99 employees of the branch “Yarenergo”, who will have to complete the total amount of clearing ROWs of 315.2 hectares.
