One of the key factors of preparation for the winter is the implementation of the repair program. This year the volume of its financing amounted to 237.8 million rubles, which is 1.9 million rubles more than in 2017. 2,236 km of 0.4-110 kV power lines, 786 substations of 6-10 kV, 50 large supply centres of 35-110 kV were repaired, 630.6 hectares of ROWs along 0.4-110 kV overhead lines were cleared and expanded to reduce the failure rate.

Fixed assets are aimed at upgrading supply centres and power lines in settlements, constructing networks in housing estates of individual development, implementing programs for reconstruction and overhaul of social facilities and housing infrastructure, priority economic and social projects. In particular, according to the reliability program, the substations of 35-110 kV “Konshino” in Gubkinsky district, “Rogovatoye” and “Promyshlennaya” in Stary Oskol, and “Nikolskoye” in Belgorodsky district are being reconstructed. In total, this year it is planned to construct and reconstruct 706 km of lines of 0.4-110 kV, to commission 69 MVA of new capacities. Among them there is a new substation of 110/10 kV "Vatutinskaya" in Valuisky district, which has already been put into operation.

Work in the autumn-winter period requires maximum consolidation of forces, increased readiness and efficiency in resolving production issues.
