IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division summed up the implementation of the investment program for 8 months of 2018.
For the implementation of the measures stipulated by the program, for the specified period, the energy company allocated 393.9 million rubles, which is 60% of the annual plan.
The branch fulfilled the key targets of the investment program: 4.0 MVA of capacity and 51 km of power lines were commissioned. Such results were achieved due to putting into operation of grid connection facilities, as well as implementation of measures to improve the reliability of power supply to consumers.
Among the large grid connection facilities of the current year is a high-tech meat processing complex with a production capacity of 185 thousand tons per year, located in the village of Linets in Zheleznogorsky district of the Kursk region. Within the framework of the grid connection agreement of the enterprise, the branch’s specialists constructed a 14-kilometre tap from the overhead line "Troitskaya-Voropaevo" to the applicant’s substation, and also installed an automatic switching device (recloser). Also, in accordance with the agreement, the branch "Kurskenergo" increased by 800 kW the capacity of the mushroom growing complex "Mushroom Rainbow".
By completing the grid connection of applicants promptly and in accordance with all the requirements of investors, Kurskenergo contributes to attracting investments to the region, participates in large investment projects in the Kursk region.
As part of the implementation of the investment program points, innovative technologies and new equipment are being implemented at Kurskenergo’s facilities. From the beginning of the year, technical re-equipment of the automated system for commercial metering of electric energy (AMR) was carried out; technical re-equipment was carried out at six substations (SS) of 110 kV with replacement of switches and control systems of operational current. In addition, during the reporting period, the reconstruction of security systems of power facilities of Kurskenergo continued.
These investment projects will improve the reliability of the power supply system of the Kursk region.
In general, in 2018 the volume of the branch’s investment program will amount to 652 million rubles.
