Personnel training is in the priority of the Kostroma branch of IDGC of Centre

IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division summed up the work on personnel training for 9 months of 2018. During the reporting period, 779 employees of the enterprise passed training. For these purposes, more than 4678.33 thousand rubles were spent.

283 employees improved their skills in electrical installations and distribution networks. 52 employees acquired new knowledge in the field of labour protection and fire safety at energy enterprises, 32 people improved their skills in the field of safe operation and diagnostics of electrical equipment, norms and rules for work in electrical installations, and 15 employees were trained in working with heat installations.

35 employees of the services sale unit received the opportunity to upgrade the qualification in the period from January to September. 263 employees were trained in working specialties, more than 20 employees were trained in defensive driving. One specialist of the production control service passed retraining on technogenic safety. 63 employees took part in a training seminar on installation of line accessories for self-supporting insulated wire with the involvement of the manufacturer LLC "NILED", 28 employees were trained in environmental safety. Three workers were trained in the profession "Electrician for operation of overhead power lines".

To ensure high-quality professional training of employees, the company actively cooperates with the Kostroma Power Engineering College named after F.V. Chizhov (KPEC), where for 9 months 507 employees underwent professional retraining on the basis of the "Multifunctional Applied Qualifications Centre".

In addition, the professional development of Kostromaenergo’s employees takes place at the Ivanovo Power Engineering University, the Petersburg Power Engineering Institute of Advanced Studies (PEIPK). The correspondence form of obtaining knowledge is also in demand. So, at the moment, 23 power engineers of the branch are being taught in absentia in the KPEC and 15 employees in the Kostroma State Agricultural Academy.

The system of personnel training in Kostromaenergo is aimed at maintaining high professional level of employees, creating conditions for their career and personal growth. According to the plan, by the end of the year more than 200 employees of Kostromaenergo will be able to receive training.
