28.09.2018

27 September 2018, IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division was presented with a certificate of readiness for work in the autumn-winter period of 2018/2019. This document confirmed the implementation of all technical and organizational arrangements for the preparation for the cold season.

The head of the safety service of IDGC of Centre Alexander Roschupkin gave the certificate of readiness to the Lipetsk branch.

Members of the commission assessed the completeness, quality and timeliness of performance of production programs, the readiness of Lipetskenergo’s personnel to work in conditions of low temperatures, the provision of necessary protective equipment, overalls, the availability and adequacy of emergency supplies of equipment and materials, and the provision of standby power supply sources.

The receipt of the certificate of readiness was preceded by large-scale work on the implementation of the main production programs and additional measures aimed at improving the reliability of electricity supply.

During the repair campaign in 2018, power engineers repaired 321.5 km of overhead lines (Conductors) of 35-110 kV, 610.4 km of 6-10/0.4 kV overhead lines and 108 pcs. of transformer substations of 10/0.4 kV.

The work was also continued to clear ROWs from trees and shrubs, aimed at reducing the failure rate caused by the fall of trees onto power lines. During the reporting period, the power engineers cleared and expanded to the normative state 628 hectares of ROWs along 0.4-110 kV power lines.

Within the framework of the investment program for 8 months of this year, 109,731 km of power lines, 71 pcs. of transformer substations were reconstructed and constructed, 9.84 MVA of transformer capacity was commissioned.

"Reliable electricity supply to the population and enterprises is a daily task for the power engineers. But it is in the autumn and winter that we are tested how well we cope with it. Lipetskenergo’s employees made every effort to ensure that in the cold season it is warm and light for residents of the Lipetsk region. And the today’s document is proof of this," stressed Director of IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division Sergey Koval.

Particular attention during the preparation for the autumn-winter period was given to readiness to work in emergency situations and to reduce the time of restoration of power supply. In case of technological processes, 46 independent power supply sources with a total capacity of 306 kW were tested, refilled and ready for use in the branch of IDGC of Centre, an emergency reserve of materials and equipment totalling 80 million rubles is fully restocked. To react promptly to technological disruptions, 126 mobile crews were formed, consisting of 476 people, as well as 212 specialized vehicles.

The priority direction of the branch in anticipation of the autumn-winter period was the improvement of personnel safety. To this end, Lipetskenergo conducted unscheduled briefings on safety measures when working in conditions of low temperatures, and organized necessary trainings. All first responding and repair personnel are provided with individual protective equipment and overalls.
