Hotline of power engineering specialists:
On the Open Doors Day for students of the 1st and 2nd year of the Yartsevo industrial technical school, employees of Yartsevsky Distribution Zone of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division held an event timed to the All-Russian Energy Saving Festival #VmesteYarche.
At the entrance to the Distribution Zone the students were told about the rules of behaviour near power plants, the dangers of electric shock, and also recalled the need to be cautious in handling household electrical appliances.
At the beginning of the tour, the chief of Yartsevsky Distribution Zone Vladimir Smirnov and the chief engineer of the Distribution Zone Igor Timofeev acquainted the guests with the territory of electric grids. The tour continued in the control room, where the head of the operational and technological group Denis Murugov told the students how the power grid complex of the district is managed. Then the guests were given a lecture on energy saving, after which all interested persons signed a form in support of the declaration on the careful attitude to energy resources and personal contribution to the development of the Russian economy.
The main goal of the event is to introduce the power engineering profession and demonstrate new energy efficient technologies.
