The government of the Belgorod region summed up the results of the regional stage of the All-Russian contest "The Russian Organization of High Social Efficiency". IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division took the first place in the nomination "For the formation of a healthy way of life in organizations of the production sphere". In total, 25 enterprises and organizations entered prize-winners, the top 10 became winners. The awarding ceremony was held today in the Belgorod regional association of the trade union organization.
The branch presented its achievements in the sphere of supporting healthy life styles of employees for the first time, however these traditions were preserved for the last fifteen years. In accordance with the policy of IDGC of Centre in the field of occupational health and safety Belgorodenergo operates five programs for physical training and sports, prevention of diseases and promotion of a healthy lifestyle successfully.
Measures to train personnel in the ways and technologies of health saving and psycho-emotional regulation, and the formation of stress-resistance were developed and implemented. Every month, employees participate in Safety Days, Psychological Health Days, classes for prevention of socially significant diseases, undergo regular medical examinations and fluorography, as well as diagnostic and rehabilitation and recovery sessions on the basis of the specially set up in Belgorodenergo Medical and Psychological Centre (MPC). In 2017, 1,026 employees were involved in such sessions, 785 employees took part in training on the basis of methods of psychological relief, 3,212 people received consultations. According to statistics, out of 12,756 visits to the MPC, only 2,833 were due to treatment of an illness, which is 22.2%. The rest is connected with prevention.
In 2016, Belgorodenergo developed a program to preserve the physical and mental health of children of employees, which gives them the opportunity to undergo a comprehensive consultative and diagnostic examination in medical institutions of the regional centre, and, if necessary, treatment. In 2017, more than 400 children of the branch’s employees were examined.
The program "Healthy way of life - the guarantee of a long and happy life" ensures the participation of power engineers in various sports and recreational activities: sports days, sports tournaments, festivals for passing the GTO (Ready for Labour and Defense) standards.
The All-Russian contest "The Russian Organization of High Social Efficiency" has been held annually since 2000. The organizer is the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation with the participation of federal and regional executive bodies, All-Russian associations of employers and trade unions. Its goal is to present to the public the experience of Russian organizations that have achieved high efficiency in solving social problems and promote the development of forms of social partnership in organizations. The winners of the regional stage are nominated for participation in the competition at the federal level.
