Kurskenergo performed the main activities of the repair program

IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division summed up preliminary results of readiness for the autumn-winter period. For eight months of this year, specialists of Kurskenergo fulfilled the basic measures for repair of electrical equipment provided for by the repair program for 2018.

Since the beginning of the year, the employees of the branch have repaired 2,040.4 km of overhead lines (Conductors) of 0.4-110 kV, including the 110 kV Conductors "Zheleznogorskaya - Zavodskaya 2", "Cheremisinovo - Raskhovets", "Sudzha - Lgov" with a tap to the substation "Cheremoshki", as well as the 35 kV Conductors "Dmitriev - Matveevka", "Oboyan - Rybinsk Budy", "Kshen - R. Kolodets".

Equipment of 23 substations (SS) of 35-110 kV has been overhauled, among which such significant supply centres as the 110 kV substation "Pribor" - a key source of power supply for consumers in the North-West district, industrial enterprises of the city of Kursk, the 110 kV substations "Schigry", "Cozy", "R. Budy", providing power supply to district centres of the Kursk region.

Also, in accordance with the plan for major overhaul of 35-110 kV substations, 233 switches of 6 (10) - 110 kV, 12 isolating switches, 35-110 kV short-circuiting switches, 151 disconnectors of 35-110 kV were repaired, 79 support-rod insulators of 35-110 kV. In the renewed grid of 0.4-110 kV 3,432 poles, 15,780 insulators, 22.34 km of lightning protection cable, 254.2 km of wire were replaced.

Kurskenergo pays special attention to clearing of ROWs along power lines. During the period under review, the specialists of the branch cleared 734.9 ha of ROWs.

The quality of the work performed, the level of readiness of Kurskenergo will be evaluated by a commission of representatives of IDGC of Centre. The result of the commission’s work will be the receipt by the branch of the Certificate of readiness - the main document confirming the readiness of the power grid complex for the autumn-winter period of 2018-2019.
